Belgian ceramic artist Ilona Van den Bergh produces elegant, sober tableware using casting techniques. A graduate of Mechelen’s IKA art school, she often finds inspiration in nature and graphic design: her ‘Komma’ bowls are based on typography, while her ‘Ona’ plates take their cues from Bauhaus architecture. Each piece is handmade by the artist in her studio in Heindonk, near Antwerp.
