NasonMoretti's story begins in Venice, Italy, in 1923; an Italian homeware brand renowned for its state-of-the-art glassmaking techniques using Murano glass, producing beautifully crafted pieces with spectacular forms.

Their most iconic products include glasses, bowls, lamps, and vases – all of which showcase a wide range of contemporary colours and designs which stand out for being daring and original.

The brand is now in its third generation yet still based in Venice, Italy, like it has been since day one.

NasonMoretti has an esteemed reputation, having created tableware and home décor pieces for the most prestigious families over the years. Additionally, the luxury brand has set the tables in households around the world for those who have a desire for refined taste and unique styles formed by design ideas which stem from 100% Italian roots.

With a profound love for experimenting with colours, NasonMoretti also follows ancient processes from the foundation years of the factory, including Venetian alchemy and the trustworthy knowledge gained and passed down from their original Murano glassmakers.

In Italy at the beginning of the twentieth century when NasonMoretti was founded, visual arts were taking off and new chapters were being written, giving way to never-before-seen styles made with time-tested methods.

NasonMoretti played a large part in this thanks to the brand’s careful consideration of shape, embellishments, and colours.

With extensive research into Murano glass of the utmost quality, cutting-edge ways of crafting mix with traditional manufacturing processes to create crisp forms with a modern touch, which can brighten up the likes of a home, office, or workplace.

Over its first few decades, NasonMoretti was quick to be recognised as one of the leading players in the world of glassware and decorative pieces, gaining both national and international recognition for its exclusive approach to glassmaking.

In 1955 the company received the second edition of the Compasso d’Oro, awarded for their elegant ‘Lidia’ glasses. Created by Umberto Nason, the Lidia glasses are still made to this day and feature a Nordic shape highlighted by a two-tone colour scheme: coloured glass on the inside and white on the outside.

The Venetian glass brand has since collaborated with huge companies, both Italian and non-Italian, including Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Bottega Veneta and Tiffany & Co.

‘Bolla’ vase

The ‘Bolla’ vase in pine green stands out for its distinctive shape which combines both curves and straight cut lines, embodying the importance of forms that has always been at the core of NasonMoretti and its designs.

This vase is made following a freehand glass-bowing technique, an age-old method which involves following a meticulous process of heating, cooling, and re-heating the glass, before the final form is eventually shaped by blowing down a long tube.

With an elongated neck and a wider, round bottom part, this vase is striking when used as both a container to showcase flowers, when filled up with water or also when left empty to stand as an ornament.

The eye-catching pine green colour is one of NasonMoretti’s twenty-two green shades, guaranteed to add life and character to a living room, office, or mantelpiece thanks to its way of capturing light and its tall, bold presence.

‘Idra’ water glass set of six

The ‘Idra’ water glass red, set of six, is a glassware set which showcases six bright pieces with each glass featuring a contrasting and unique design. Born from Stefano Marcato’s love of glassmaking and the entire process behind it, this contemporary set combines every factor that NasonMoretti strives to highlight – colour, appearance, design, and tradition.

Playing with texture and shape, NasonMoretti offers diagonal and straight cut lines as well as grooves, optical designs and balloton, all of which capture light, and liquid, in a different way.
