Beirut-based Stéphanie Moussallem believes in the use of design as a tool to facilitate everyday life by making everyday objects as practical and pleasant as possible. As such, the Stéphanie Moussallem Design Studio, which the product and interior designer founded in 2015, is dedicated to improving the relationship between usability, ergonomics and style.
Moussallem's designs include furniture, interior concepts and architectural installations, and her exploration of the evolving vision of contemporary culture has been exhibited at a number of shows, including La Fiera di Milano, House of Today and Stockholm Design Week. In 2016, House of Today launches The Shop, in partnership with FRANKBROS, to coincide with its third biennale exhibition, 'Jungle Protocol, traditional & etiquette', to promote Lebanese designers.
