Designer and art director Toni Grilo was born in France. Soon after graduation from the École Boulle in Paris in 2001, he moved to Lisbon, where he set up shop, inspired by the country’s rich craft and manufacturing heritage. Following a collaboration with designer Elder Monteiro, he opened his own studio there in 2008.
