'Stephen Shore: American Surfaces, Revised & Expanded Edition'

First published by Phaidon in 2005, Stephen Shore's 'American Shores' made waves when it was originally released, thanks to the photographer's extraordinary eye for capturing everyday life, which still continues to influence and set a benchmark for photographers today. Featuring the same 320 photographs sequenced in the order in which they were originally documented — the images were taken during Shore's travels across America in 1972-73 — and text by novelist, photographer, critic, curator and author Teju Cole, this updated version of the book includes additional, previously unpublished photography alongside a new introduction.
