'Uzbekistan Living Treasures: Celebration Of Craftsmanship'

Uzbekistan’s craftspeople have created special items using the finest skills and materials for millennia. A culture where such skills and knowledge are passed down from generation to generation—from “usto” (master) to “shogird” (young artisan)—is captured in Assouline's 'Uzbekistan Living Treasures: Celebration Of Craftsmanship', a volume created by Yaffa Assouline and one which explores a world of unique handmade objects.
