'Moulds' pendant light , small

Created by Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus for Lasvit, the 'Moulds' collection brings together a series of suspended lights that capture the point at which molten glass resists its expected shape and manages to escape from the mould as a amorphous bubble. Additionally showcasing the resilience and capabilities of Czech crystal, this small pendant light is also notable for its contrast of materials — the glass is blown into a beech form, with the integrated LED light source set directly inside to look as though the heat and energy of the glassmaker’s kiln remains inside, in a nod to the art of Czech glassmaking.
