'Harbour Dining Side Chair', brown leather

The ideas for the 'Harbour' chair and the 'Harbour' dining side chair spin-off were conceived during the design process for Menu Space, an office, cafe and co-working space designed by Norm Architects for Danish design company Menu. Named for the destination's location in Copenhagen's thriving Nordhavn (Northern Harbour) area, the chair's versatility reflects the multifaceted home for which it was originally designed. As such, the 'Harbour' dining chair suits domestic settings as well as restaurants, thanks to its slightly adjusted form which allows it to fit neatly under tables. Featuring an oak frame and a leather seat, the chair is a subtle balance of comfort and style, which come courtesy of the geometric and organic shapes that combine for a slim and elegant shell.
