Taken from Mater's 'Ocean Collection', this black lounge chair is a reimagined vision of a 1955 blueprint by renowned designers Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel. Bringing together 1400g of recycled materials gathered from discarded Carlsberg beer kegs with a steel frame and an aesthetic defined by repeated slats and metal frames, each lounge chair has a noticeably light structure and is especially suited to outdoor use. In line with the application of recyclable materials, the black lounge chair is assembled in a way that allows it to be taken apart easily so that its components may be fed into new production circles with ease.
