A design classic, the 'Lily' candlestick was created by Ivar Ålenius Björk (1905 – 1978), a sculptor known both for his busts and his series of brass candlesticks. Decades after its original Swedish manufacturer, Ystad-Metall, closed down, Skultuna — in agreement with Björk's relatives — has reproduced the elegant 'Lily' candlestick and its accompanying vase. Originally created for the New York world fair in 1939, the sleek glass vase has stood the test of time and looks as elegant today as it did when it was first produced. Candlestick sold separately.
