Bitossi Home: Authentic Italian Homeware
Italian brand Bitossi Home came together in 2007 as a Bitossi diffusion brand and focuses on table settings with pieces of glassware, tableware, mugs, vases and so much more. Playing with a traditional Tuscan table setting, the brand combines styles, textures, shapes and colours to create vintage designs with a modern touch.
The Italy-based company has a profound knowledge of how to pair shades in harmony with one another to create interesting and unusual prints and patterns, and also how to create creative shapes and forms that characterise their pieces.
Despite this highly evident creative and modern flair that the brand strives towards, it still manages to stay on the simple path of creating timeless pieces of homeware that last for years to come, gracing special occasions from birthdays and dinner parties to everyday family lunches.
With the Italian passion for eating and spending hours at the table with good company in mind, Bitossi Home sought to provide consumers with contemporary pieces of kitchenware to create beautiful settings full of colour and life. Working with young designers and as part of creative partnerships such as Bel Paese, a collection of plates designed by French designer, Sam Baron, and the wide-ranging Tavola Scomposta, a collaboration with Funky Table, the brand has been able to experiment and dare to do something new and different – covering any table with an exclusive, fashionable look.
Brazil-born designer Paula Cademartori ventured to Italy where her family are originally from in order to study at Istituto Marangoni. Wanting to pursue a master’s degree in Fashion Accessories, she subsequently went on to obtain a managing certificate of “Young Fashion Manager” from the Università SDA Bocconi.
Paula started her career as a Junior Accessories Designer and was soon spotted by Vogue Italia, in 2009, as an emerging talent with a promising future. Cademartori established her own luxury brand in 2010 with a focus on footwear, small leather goods and seasonal collections. With bright colours, high quality materials and a strong influence of art, architecture and photography behind her, this designer is known for a series of successful collaborations and is renowned for her unrepeatable perspective.
Working with Bitossi Home, Paula Cademartori has designed various pieces of striking homeware including boxes, vases and candleholders that combine timeless quality with contemporary, progressive designs with in-depth expertise of shape and colour.

Crafted from borosilicate glass, it makes a big statement when filled up with anything you please but gives off an equally striking effect when left empty. Its strong shape renders it a piece that will stand out when placed as a centrepiece, and its large dimensions make it practical when it comes to matters of storage.
When it comes to sculpture, this ‘'Intreccio' basket’made of braided gold copper is a stylish masterpiece that will light up a room. With a unique take on traditional design that is convenient for holding fruit and bread, its carefully weaved design - made with copper strands - means it also creates a dazzling effect when left empty.
Bitossi Home’s collaboration with Funky Table created this underplate as part of ‘La Tavola Scomposta’ series. A piece of tableware that with its artisanal production and vintage look, creates a sophisticated piece that is perfect to be paired with similar ones from the collection’s new porcelain items in golden shades. Dare to be creative by mixing and matching it with other decorated plates to give way to an outstanding table setting.
