'Digital Patterns' dispenser

Taken from Dimitri Bähler Studio's Textures & Colors (VPT&C) collection, this oblong 'Digital Patterns' dispenser is the outcome of a series of decorative experimentations. A unique bi-dimensional pattern on the surface of the black earthenware dispenser, courtesy of latex textured foil transferred from a milled plastic sheet, plays with volume, while Bähler's self-developed glaze offers a unique texture. The result is an active demonstration of a series of techniques, and an original dialogue between functionality and non-functionality, minimalism and decoration. This item's versatile shape opens it to a multitude of uses and it may also be used as a plate or wall decoration.
