SaloneSatellite, founded and curated by Marva Griffin Wilshire, was the first event to focus on young designers, instantly becoming the unrivalled place for interface with manufacturers, talent scouts and the most promising young designers, and since 1998 runs again concurrently with the Salone del Mobile.Milano. Creative young people with a real thirst for making their mark and communicating through their own very personal design make up the generation of talents spawned by SaloneSatellite over the last twenty-five years – a real breath of fresh air that has successfully revitalised the looks and remits of furnishing products.

Zara Adler gives new life to materials often left behind, creating spectacular objects with an emphasis on color, light, and tactility. Adler’s studio is dedicated to uncovering the potential of forgotten or overlooked materials, reflecting a conscious philosophy that recognizes how materials are in constant transformation and interaction with the environment. The designer’s work has been exhibited at SaloneSatellite in Salone del Mobile.Milano, the Venice Architecture Biennale, and the Hong Kong Design Institute.
