Known for his constant experimentation with the possibilities of materials and his radical re-conception of the form and structure of furniture, Ron Arad has been at the forefront of contemporary design and architecture for nearly four decades. In 1989, the Tel Aviv-born designer founded Ron Arad Associates architecture
and design practice, followed in 2008 by Ron Arad Architects. As well as having an extensive portfolio of studio work, Arad has collaborated with a number of international companies including Kartell, Vitra, Moroso, Fiam, Driade and Alessi.
