Founded in 1977 by Gert Wingårdhs, an architect, Wingårdhs is an architectural firm with offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö. Employing over 150 people to work on projects that span the little to the large, the company works across everything from urban scales to private spaces with one unifying thread — attention to detail and a playful spirit. In addition to notable projects such as
the Swedish Embassiesin Berlin and Washington DC, the Liljevalchs art museum in Stockholm and the Aula Medica at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Wingårdhs has taken part in numerous architectural competitions, accumulating over 70 wins that includes five esteemed Kasper Salin Prizes.
