'Drip' candle holder, four arms, silver

Designed by Pascal Smelik for Dutch brand Polspotten, the 'Drip' candleholder has reached iconic status. Inspired by the designer's fascination with deformity, the four armed aluminum candleholder presents a quartet of branches that appear to melt and contort. The result is a compelling piece — here colored in silver — that is equally attractive as a standalone light source as it is a mantlepiece accent.
