'Pomegranate' sculpture, raw metal

Designer-architect Michele De Lucchi presents 'The Garden', a botanical series of sculptures for Produzione Privata celebrating abundance and seasonality. Among these fruiting trees is 'Pomegranate', a charming and lively centerpiece intricately cut from a 2mm sheet of raw metal. With its sprightly angle, shapely leaves, and fruit that catches the light, the piece pays faithful tribute to this much loved plant, reminiscent of the Middle East. Placed indoors or out,'Pomegranate' creates atmospheric shadows and adds elegance to any space. Trees can be placed together to form an orchard, which can grow over time, and be populated with other pieces from the collection.
