'Halesia' table lamp, steel

A collaboration between Alessi and Michael Anastassiades’ eponymous lighting brand, 'Halesia' is a composite of two polished steel bells. This rhythmic table lamp design takes its inspiration from botany, and sees two flared pieces, one placed over the other, diffusing a ring of light for a soft, even glow. With its entirely concealed light source, the top bell can be rotated to control brightness and adjust the mood. Stainless steel material reflects the space around it, and pays tribute to the Italian brand's design heritage. The top bell has a deep, semi-spherical hollow, creating the enchanting effect of an upturned mirror.
