'Cucù' cuckoo clock, red

Renowned for its designer wall clocks, Italian clockmaker Domeniconi reimagines the traditional cuckoo clock in this clean and innovative design. Combining extraordinary craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic, 'Cucù' mimics the silhouette of traditional wooden cuckoo clocks using sheet metal. Characterized by the shapes of trees, the piece is crested with a stag, and features a circular pendulum and pine-cone shaped weights. A white cuckoo emerges on the hour, contrasting with the all red design. The bird flaps its wings as it sings, and is accompanied by the soft sound of water. Both the sounds and the shape of the design recall the atmosphere of the Black Forest where the cuckoo clock originates. Designed to not disturb sleep, 'Cucù' is equipped with a sensor, which releases the bird only in the presence of light.
