'LC7' swivel chair, black structure

An iconic chair designed by Charlotte Perriand and part of her 'LC' collection co-created with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, 'Swivel' has steadily gained fans over the decades thanks to its versatility and functionality. Designed in 1927, the chair was originally created by Perriand for her Paris apartment and was exhibited the next year at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and then the Salon d'Automne in 1929. Combining four black enamel legs with a black leather upholstered swivel seat, the chair is suited to domestic and office settings alike.
