'Ni' vase, medium, chocolate brown

Designers Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl capture the essence of movement in the 'Ni' vase for 101 Copenhagen. Taking its name from the Japanese word for "motion", the ceramic vessel is built with an organic silhouette that evokes a sense of dynamism and fluidity. Supported by two converging sculptural legs, the design creates a subtle sense of equilibrium and tension. A narrow opening at the top of the vase invites the placement of a single found branch or few delicate stems in minimalist arrangements. Whether displayed as a sculptural statement in its own right, or filled with simple botanicals, the medium 'Ni' vase in chocolate brown fills spaces with a peaceful, primordial energy.
