Designed in the early fifties by Aldo Londi, the 'Rimini Blu' collection has attained iconic status over the years. Defined by a succession of hand engraved geometric decorations on raw clay and a glossy blue crystalline glaze, the collection has been produced for over sixty years by Bitossi, and is supported by the advanced research of the chemical laboratory Colorificio Colorobbia, a body that is wholly aligned with an Londi's assiduous study and ongoing experimentation with materials, colours and techniques. This mushroom-shaped vase is both decorative and functional, and manages to magically reproduce the plays of light reflected in the sea on its azure exterior.
