World renowned interior designer Nini Andrade Silva has teamed up with Bordello Pinheiro to develop the 'Banana Madeira' collection, an ode to the designer's birthplace. Here, the island's iconic banana trees are celebrated through a series of ceramic tableware pieces in which their dark wrinkled barks, large verdant leaves and delicate stems are painstakingly recreated for a tropical dining table layout. This centerpiece forms one part of the award winning collection, which in 2020 won both a German Design Award and the Iconic Awards Innovative Interior category.
