'Line-Up 01' serving plate, blue and white

This characterful tableware series for Serax ingeniously captures sketches in clay. Dutch designer Annebet Philips renders spontaneous handpainted lines on white porcelain for a stylized minimalism in which stoneware seems to take on the flatness of paper. A graphic take on traditional blue and white china, the collection celebrates the artisanal through directness and imperfection. Uneven edges and asymmetrical forms echo the concept. This small serving plate features an inner and an outer border in thick brushstrokes. Dashes give the inner border a solar quality. Each plate is slightly different in shape. The playful serving plate can be layered with other 'Line-Up' pieces for a uniquely elegant statement look. Dishwasher safe.
