Renowned for his work with bold and repetitious motifs, Richard Woods is often inspired by domestic pattern and a nostalgia for mid-century domestic interiors. The British artist's woodblock prints are his signature and are instantly distinguishable on the many facades, floors and walls around the world to which they have been applied. Teaming up with designer Sebastian Wrong for programme of collaborations led by Established and Sons, Woods has applied a cartoonish multicoloured wood grain print to Wrong’s utilitarian plywood trays, which are reminiscent of 1950s homeware — an ideal pairing, given Woods' reverence of the era. The result is both graphic and playful.
