This American placemat design by Lisa Corti is inspired by traditional Chinese carpet decoration. The design pairs a Suzani-derived motif from Central Asia, in two colorways, with naturalistic florals. Red pattering shifts across a central cream panel into a ruby red border. Two large magnolia flowers divide the color fields. Jade green edges with single red brush strokes capture the flair of the Milanese brand. This striking set of two 'Planet' placemats can be mixed and matched with other table linen from the Lisa Corti collections.
