The result of a collaboration between Italian ceramic experts Bitossi Home and Milanese homeware brand La DoubleJ, the 'Oppio' soup and dinner plate set quite literally brings fun to the table. The set's dinner plate is a redesign of La DoubleJ's Ombrelli print, designed by Paris-based fabric designer Suzanne Kientz in 1963, while the soup plate features a redesign of a 1976 print by Milanese textile company Corisia. Both porcelain plates are finished with a wonderfully delicate hand-painted gold trim and as such, both pieces are best cleaned by hand to protect their precious surface design.
