'Oriental Dream' bread plate, set of two, black and white

This decadent bread plate by Simone Guidarelli Home features four richly detailed temple scenes in black and white, encircled with hand-finished gold edging. A tessellated patterned background, recalling clouds and bells, brings a graphic, contemporary feel to the piece. Part of a series of tableware that renders far flung places in monochrome, the design is drawn directly from Guidarelli's maximalist wallpaper portfolio.
