'Oriental Dream' dinner plate, black and white

This decadent dinner plate by Simone Guidarelli Home features four richly detailed temple scenes in black and white, encircled with hand-finished gold edging. A tessellated patterned background, recalling clouds and bells, brings a graphic, contemporary feel to the piece. Part of a series of tableware that renders far flung places in monochrome, the design is drawn directly from Guidarelli's maximalist wallpaper portfolio. Inspired by the timeless appeal of Chinoiserie, the 'Oriental Dream' plate can be mixed and matched with other designs from the 'Souvenirs De Voyage' collection, or introduced into pared-black tablescapes as a statement in its own right.
