'Pliage' centrepiece, small

Taken from the 'Pliage' series designed by Denis Guidone for Hands on Design, this a porcelain centrepiece looks to the Japanese tradition of origami for inspiration. Crafted from Arita porcelain, the centrepiece has been carefully shaped into uniform folds on both the bowl and base to form a piece that presents an illusion of fragility in contrast to the centrepiece's actual robustness.
