'Pon' coffee table, smoked, large

Taken from the 'Pon' series — a collection of variously sized wood tables designed by Jasper Morrison — this furniture piece is a direct response to what the designer referred to as the “overrated and badly named ‘coffee table’”. As such, a modest size, use of solid oak wood and strong silhouette are what sets 'Pon' apart from the rest, as well as the integration of table top, column and foot, which also allows the table to take on a sculptural quality. Presented in smoked, oiled oak wood.
