A seamless merger of flowing contours and a sculptural form define Ekaterina Bazhenova Yamasaki's 'How To Appear Invisible', a small pitcher produced in collaboration with British brand Completedworks. Crafted from pure white ceramic, the organic vessel is taken from 'Fold', a family of items that trace elements of choreography while simultaneously alluding to chance and serendipity. The result is an organic layering of creases and bends, which are combined for a dramatic silhouette that conveys movement and fluidity, and equally nods to the application of drapery in the history of painting.
