Inspired by the lesser flamingo, Roxanne Flick Design's 'Purpur' milk and sugar set is an abstract interpretation of the cycles of human creativity and nature, and how these may both be applied to design. Shaped from lilac grey porcelain, the duo is a demonstration of how inanimate forms can imply a processuality — the milk jug, which strongly resembles a bird's head, for example, spouts liquid from a 'beak' in an act that is both playful and indicative of the brand's enthusiasm for storytelling and bringing objects alive.
