Known for their creation of temporary large scale art in public spaces, French artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude began their collaboration in 1961, with their partnership producing a number of renowned international projects in locations that include New York, Berlin, London, Colorado and Biscayne Bay. Captured by Wolfgang Volz, who worked with Christo and Jeanne-Claude as an exclusive photographer of their works from 1971, the duo's oeuvre is presented in Taschen's 'Christo and Jeanne-Claude', a 512-page hardcover book that is a condensed version of the publisher's previously released XXL exploration. A celebration of the two late artists whose imagination affected the landscape of every continent, the multilingual book traces both existing and upcoming works alongside early drawings and family photos.
