Shooting with a Nikon F and just one roll of film, Gabriele Basilico's exploration of the outskirts of Glasgow one summer afternoon in 1969 was to mark the architecture student's baptism as a photographer. Capturing local children, 19th-century industrial archaeology and the terrains vagues, 'Glasgow 1969' is the final volume of the 'Basilico before Basilico' trilogy, following 'Iran 1970' and 'Marocco 1971'. The paperback from Humboldt Books includes words from Umberto Fiori and Pippo Ciorra, as well as a testimony from Giovanna Calvenzi.
