'Tuileries' candle, large

Historic French brand Trudon has gone back in time for its new collection, created in celebration of the candlemaker's 380th anniversary. The 'Tuileries' collection, comprising four candle sizes and a diffuser, finds inspiration in the archived notes of countess Geneviève d’Ossun, a French courtier who served as lady-in-waiting to Marie Antoinette. Amidst this document, fabric samples from the queen's dresses and royal outfits are gathered and reveal a penchant for the rose, Marie Antoinette's favorite flower. In this large 800g 'Tuileries' candle, this manifests via heart notes of white flowers, raspberry, geranium and rose, which are buttressed by head notes of pink berry, blackcurrant and mandarin, as well as base notes of musk, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla. This candle has a burn time of 110 to 120 hours.
