'Emoji' bookends, white marble

Designed by Alain Gilles for XLBoom, the 'Emoji' bookend set offers a delightful series of contrasts, even better appreciated when the two pieces in the set are placed side-by-side without any books in-between. Carved from white marble to produce two minimally curved blocks, 'Emoji' is sculptural and functional in equal parts, it's duality lending itself to a balance of weight and weightlessness, solidity and detailing.
