Fusing traditional Indian craftsmanship with clean Scandinavian design, Ayush Kasliwal's 'Bowl' table is a smooth amalgamation of two styles that, on paper, aren't supposed to work. In reality, the combination of a sustainably-sourced mango wood tabletop — crafted using techniques of Kharadi, an Indian wood turning community — and the clean silhouette cast by milled hollow steel rod legs, is a success. True to Mater's environmentally-friendly ethos, the table is finished with a lead-free, water-based PU lacquer.
