The product of what was originally a research project, 'Hidden' vase was born from designer Chris Kabel's investigation into the possibilities of making a vase seem to disappear. The project — in collaboration with Spanish publication The Plant — led Kabel to place flowers around water containers, rather than in them, giving the illusion of each stem growing directly from the base plate and emphasising their beauty. This one-off piece is taken from the collection by Valerie_objects, and brings together stoneware, glass and stainless steel.
