Remarkable for the illusionistic effect of its hand-decorated relief work, the multicoloured vase is characterised by the application of a double cut decal technique dating to 1925. Slightly smaller than Ponti's original, the vase features the same pattern of small vases occupying the cells on its surface, with the perspective created by the cells making it impossible to look at the object from just one point of view.
