In its combination of unique silhouettes and textures, 101 Copenhagen's 'Sphere' vase collection offers an impactful sculptural presence. Now the series further emphasizes it identity with the addition of 'Sphere Shisen', a family of vessels that are designed and developed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl. Created in collaboration with skilled ceramicists, the vases are defined by a unique surface in which hundreds of small circles come together to fade into the background for a textured pattern that resembles a fine web —  the word shisen is Japanese for a mesh. This large square version of the vase is cut from ceramic and presents its own variations in tone and texture due to its handmade nature. As the vase is non-waterproof, a bag for fresh flowers is included.
