Cutting boards, cold tones

Led by a design infatuation with the feel and durability of polyethylene, Belgian design duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen of Muller Van Severen have created this set of overlaying cutting boards from the material. Comprising four organically-shaped pieces, the set was born from the designers' wish to create a polyethylene sculpture and, despite the uneven proportions of each board, the shapes were consciously designed in a way to enhance the set's impact when overlaid and hung. Presented in a giftbox with a signed certificate.
