'Flute' pestle and mortar, grey

Tino Seubert's ongoing exploration of geometric and clean tubular stone carvings continues with 'Flute', a pestle and mortar set that marries a classic raw material with contemporary lines. Hewn from Pietra Serena sand stone which is CNC-carved in Italy and enhanced with a food safe mineral oil, 'Flute' is formed from one solid piece shaped into several undulating waves, which, along with it's rough and grainy surface, provides an ideal base on which to grind spices and grains.
