'Sobremesa' jug

Teaming up with Danish brand Hay, New York-based artist Laila Gohar has created 'Sobremesa' a collection of tableware and kitchen accessories that celebrate food as a means for telling stories. As such, all items in the series are made for enjoyment around a lively table with company — apt for a series whose name describes the Spanish tradition of relaxing and enjoying idle moments, and each other’s company at the end of the meal. This green speckled jug is cut from porcelain and can be mixed and matched with other pieces in the family for a bold and memorable dining table setup.
