At first glance, David Lehmann's porcelain table service is classic in every sense. Comprising cups, plates and bowls, the collection contains the multiple identifiable parts one would expect from a conventional set but with one twist: the designer encourages the use of each item instinctively rather than traditionally. As such, this white porcelain espresso cup is not confined to performing in its time-honoured sense but whichever way the user sees fit. Convention meets imagination.
