To celebrate the arrival of two giant pandas at Copenhagen Zoo, Bjarke Bundgaard Ingels was asked to design their new home. The result was a space that not only mimics the Chinese yin-yang symbol, but a layout that offered optimal mating conditions. To commemorate the commission, Bjarke Ingels also created 'Panda', a large wooden figurine with a rotating upper body and mobile limbs. Available in both small and large sizes, this larger incarnation of the panda can be paired with smaller pieces to create a complete family.
