FRAMA is a Danish design brand with a hands-on approach. Creating everyday objects such as furniture, lighting and home accessories, they craft everything from mirrors to chairs to stools to candleholders.
Based in Copenhagen in a former pharmacy which was established in 1878, the brand encourages mindful living through their simple geometries and natural materials yet still maintains the utmost quality in their carefully designed aesthetics.
Collaborating and working closely with architects, the studio focuses on the both the past and the present, finding ways to tie the two together and create excellent pieces that last for years to come, thanks to their natural shades and solid materials.
FRAMA hosts various open events, art and design installations and gatherings in the studio every year, which is based in the Nyboder neighbourhood of Copenhagen.

'Apothecary' hand wash
Produced locally in Denmark, this 'Apothecary' hand wash is 100% natural and offers skin softening properties. The eye-catching coloured glass bottle is finished off with a single pump, making it an attractive bathroom feature that is practical at the same time. Scented with sandalwood, cedar wood and ylang ylang, this soap leaves a fresh and warm aroma.
'Chair 01'
FRAMA’s 'Chair 01', black is a sophisticated piece of furniture suited for many various environments. Crafted from black-painted birch, its archetypical sledge construction gives it strength and structure which are some of the brand’s core values. The beauty of simplicity focuses on its flowing design, with clean-cut horizontal and vertical lines. It can be stacked, making it easy to store and used in different settings and occasions.
'Sutoa' unit
This ‘Sutoa’ unit is a beautifully made and practical drawer unit which works perfectly as both a decorative feature and for storage purposes. Made up of a steel frame and stacked walnut drawers arranged in size order from the smallest and the top to the biggest at the bottom, it takes its name ‘Sutoa’ from the Japanese word that means ‘to contain’. Designed by Kiji Ashizawa, its functionality is unrepeatable as the gaps between the drawers can be used as handles and the small wheels at the back mean you can easily transport it from room to room.
'Adam' stool
