One of the UK's leading young designers, Alexander Taylor's career has been on an unstoppable trajectory since the Brit launched his eponymous industrial design studio in 2002. Earning international recognition in 2004 with the award-winning 'Antlers' coat hook designed for London manufacturer Thorsten Van Elten, Taylor went on to create furniture and lighting for some of Europe’s most esteemed design manufacturers, including Zanotta, Established & Sons and
ClassiCon. The designer is perhaps best known in his native country for his work on an innovative and sustainable footwear project with Adidas for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, while his 'Fold’ lamp (2005) for Established & Sons has won him critical acclaim internationally and can be found in the permanent collections of both the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Chicago Institute of Design.
